Who we are
Envision is a social purpose business. We get involved in projects that:
- Support local economic development
- Protect and improve our natural environment
- Create employment & training opportunities
During the 2016 / 17 financial year:
- 49% of our billable hours were provided at community rates or pro bono
- We were involved in the establishment of 4 new social enterprises
- Those new enterprises have created 10 new jobs between them
The Envision Team
While each of Envision's core team members share a belief in the power of business to do good, our skills are as diverse as the work we engage in.
Social enterprise and business management
Owner and director of Envision, Matthew specialises in the establishment and operation of social and community enterprises in the resource recovery sector. Matthew works with local authorities, community organisations, businesses and individuals throughout New Zealand, providing consulting, mentorship and management services.
Kate is a community activation specialist. Her skills in facilitation, engagement and advocacy have been honed at local government while empowering community organisations to take a leading role in waste minimisation within their communities. Kate specialises in construction and demolition waste, group facilitation and charitable trust governance.
Waveney is passionate about inspiring behaviour change through engaging communications, education and experience. With a degree in human geography and sociology, and seven years in Auckland Council's waste minimisation team, Waveney has built up in-depth experience on how to make the most of any engagement opportunity.
